LILLIAN AXE: New Orleans Show To Be Filmed For Upcoming DVD
November 15, 2008New Orleans rockers LILLIAN AXE have issued the following update:
"On December 13, 2008 in New Orleans, Lousiana; at the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Howlin' Wolf Club, LILLIAN AXE will be filming their performance in high definition with seven cameras. It is quite possible that this concert, with all the cool backstage footage and antics with Derrick, Eric, Ken, Sam and Steve along with their great road crew, will be released on DVD and will be included as an added value in their new upcoming CD scheduled to be released in the spring of 2009, as a 'thank you' to all the loving fans that have never stopped supporting LILLIAN AXE and continue to believe in the dream of a lifetime.

LILLIAN AXE recently began pre-production in Louisiana on its new album, tentatively titled "Sad Day On Planet Earth". Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Ignite", "Jesus Wept", "A Cold Day In Hell" and "Hibernate". An early 2009 release is expected.
On August 31, LILLIAN AXE, hit the stage in 100-degree-plus Texas heat to perform for close to 3,000 screaming fans from all over the United States that came out early to see the boys rock hard at the Rock The Bayou festival in Houston. LILLIAN AXE treated the fans to 44 minutes and 57 seconds of pure LILLIAN AXE. Guitarist Steve Blaze, battling the heat, blistered the fans with his interpretation of the national anthem.
LILLIAN AXE's first new studio LP in nearly fifteen years (and first for the Metro City Records label),"Waters Rising" was released on July 17, 2007.
